Our Story

The owner, Shermaletha Watson, who is a native of Northeast Louisiana, was inspired by her mom who was a lover of sweets. Growing up in Louisiana, Shermaletha was taught how to bake, cook, and make treats by her grandmother Juanita and mother Majorie (Sister). In getting those generations of recipes and cooking instructions, Shermaletha chose to share her tasty treats by opening Sister Sweetie Sweets in February 2010.
